BCM is a campus ministry at Clemson University who's mission is to multiple leaders in the Kingdom of God who love God and love people. Our gathering on Tuesday nights is called Refuge. We meet at our building next to campus. We also have connect groups, serve teams, leadership training, socials, and mission trips.
Any college student 18-25 years old. This includes students from Clemson, Tri-County, SWU, and other nearby colleges!
Students enter through the back of the building. Everyone stops by the welcome table for a name tag. First timers grab an orange bag! After a brief time of hanging out in the parking lot or inside, we do 3 things:
Announcements - Each service begins with announcements. Student leaders share about key happenings.
Teaching - BCM staff or guest church pastor will teach from the Bible for about 20 minutes. Our primary teacher is BCM director, Peter Hyatt. We usually teach using a series of messages about a specific topic. Each series lasts 3-5 weeks.
Small Groups - Students break into groups led by student leaders. Groups typically discuss the teaching. First time guests can sign up for a group before they come or at the welcome table when they arrive. Groups typically end around 8:30pm.
BCM Building - Our parking lot is behind our building accessible via Hillcrest Ave. We have spots for first time guests.
Tennis Center - Employee spots (green lines) are available after 4:30pm for Clemson students who have a commuter pass.
Gentry Hall - Employee spots (green lines) are available after 4:30pm for Clemson students who have a commuter pass. Gentry Hall also has metered spots for anyone without a Clemson commuter pass.
Downtown Parking Garage - The parking garage downtown is free after 5pm. It's a 0.4 mile walk to BCM.
